We have recently added the My Areas feature that allows a patron to keep track of multiple local areas within their profile. This is very useful if you live in a place that is located close to many great dining destinations or if you want to keep tabs on great local restaurant in you favorite vacation destination.

For example, a patron living in Erie Pa, has the ability to stay on top of new restaurants and patron recommendations in Cleveland Oh, Buffalo NY and Pittsburgh Pa. Additionally, the patron likes to vacation in Ocean City Md so he can keep track of the restaurants in that area as well.
The My Areas functionality is integrated through an orange drop-down on the right side of the screen. You can add an area to your list of My Areas by clicking the green (+) icon.
If you are no longer interested in tracking a particular area, simply click the (-) icon in the orange My Areas drop-down.
Once you add some local areas to your My Areas, you will see the most recent recommendations from all the tracked areas on your diningverse home page.
You can look at more comprehensive My Areas listing of recommendations by clicking the “view latest activity in my areas” link undernath the My Areas portion of your diningverse home page or you can click the “My Areas” link in the My Diningverse drop-down (it’s the one at the top-right … with your picture).
To see the listing on the most recent restaurants within the areas you are tracking, just click the “restaurants” link above the recommendations.
Let us know if you like the My Areas functionality and whether you can think of any improvements.

I really like this feature and look forward to diningverse expanding into some of the vacation areas.
