Share your Restaurant Lists with the diningverse widget

Earlier this month we launched the My Lists feature that allows diningverse patrons to create and maintain their own restaurant directories on diningverse. The patrons can easily share their lists through a link and now there is a brand new way to publicize a diningverse restaurant list through a diningverse widget.

The diningverse widget works great on any Website and is especially suited for local bloggers and sites that are looking to aggregate local content. Each diningverse widget is linked to a specific restaurant list within a diningverse patron’s profile.

After you create your restaurant list and add restaurants to it, simply click the Grab Widget button.

This will open the widget preview and gives you the ability to set some options. You can set the widget width, color and sorting. The widget preview will automatically refresh to show you exactly how the final widget will look like.

When you’re happy with the look and behavior of the widget, just copy the provided code and paste to your Website or blog.

Adding the widget code to a blog is very simple as two of our favorite blogs have already confirmed to us. You can find the diningverse widget in action at ErieBlogs.com and Erie PA Today.

We’d love to see the diningverse widget on hundreds of blogs and local Websites across the country promoting the great, independently-owned local restaurants. We’d love to hear from anyone who added a diningverse widget to their Website or blog. We’ll post a short note about them here.

As always, we’d LOVE to hear your feedback and suggestions by clicking the green FEEDBACK tab on any diningverse page or by going directly to our cool feedback forum.
