During a seminar I was attending, the speaker mentioned that independent restaurants are #1 in charitable giving. He described numerous ways they support our communities; from sponsoring little league teams to providing meals to the homeless on holidays. They donate coupons for local charities; provide space to hold fundraisers, have collection jars for the needy and sick in our communities. He went on and on citing numerous examples. It really impressed upon me the value our local restaurant owners bring to our communities….so if you’re listening…..thank you!
